About the Role
Treta Pak is seeking a Welder for the 1st shift to fabricate and weld stainless-steel equipment for the food industry. Based in Winsted, MN, you will contribute to safe, on-time production in a world-class manufacturing environment and help deliver equipment to customers around the world.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for day-to-day production in a safe and efficient manner according to planning for on-time delivery.
- Fabricate stainless steel equipment for the food industry.
- Apply TIG and MIG welding techniques on stainless steel materials (sheet and pipe).
- Operate general metal shop equipment and tools.
- Perform process checks to meet quality requirements.
- Participate in daily improvements and multi-skill training.
- Engage in World Class Manufacturing/5S activities and contribute to team goals.
- What We're Looking For
- Technical School Diploma or equivalent in welding/fabrication.
- Previous experience in mechanical-related industries.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings; recognize welding symbols and drawing specifications.
- Physical ability to perform repetitive motions; stand, kneel, bend; lift 50-70 pounds.
- Forklift driving and use of lifting devices.
- Drive for results; fast learner; flexible and adaptable.
- Works well in team and individually; strong communication and basic computer skills.
- Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Base Salary Range: $49,100 – $70,000.
- Short-term Incentive (Variable Pay): eligible to 10% incentive.
