Job title: Weighbridge Operator (Warehouse & Weighing)
About the Role This role operates at the weighbridge and warehouse receiving area, responsible for weighing inbound materials and outbound products, recording gross, tare, and net weights, and ensuring data accuracy. It also involves daily 5S housekeeping, safety, reporting, and cross-functional coordination with warehouse, finance, production, and mining teams.
What You'll Do
- Conduct inbound weighing of raw materials, auxiliaries, and goods; record gross, tare, and net weights.
- Weigh outbound finished goods, semi-finished products, and waste; ensure data accuracy.
- Verify vehicle and cargo information against weigh slips to prevent discrepancies; issue and review weigh slips.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to resolve variances; report differences promptly.
- Perform regular weighbridge inspections and 5S cleaning; support periodic verification with metrology.
- Compile daily weighing statistics and report to the warehouse supervisor.
- Maintain weighroom order and direct vehicle parking for weigh operations.
- Adhere to safety procedures to protect personnel, vehicles, and equipment.
- Assist warehouse supervisor with temporary tasks; cooperate with finance, production, and mining for goods receipt and settlement.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of experience in a warehouse or metering-related role; weighing/scale experience preferred.
- College degree or above.
Nice to Have
- Weighbridge/scale operation experience preferred.
