Web Portal Developer
Barclays Services Corp. seeks Web Portal Developer in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
- Apply agile methodologies to deliver various web development products by using effective research, solution engineering, written/verbal communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Prioritize workload, understand requirements, provide timely and accurate estimates and proper impact analysis.
- Coordinate with testing, release, and engineering teams as needed, and assist development team with production support.
- Perform in-depth research and assessment of emerging technologies in their field and define practical applications for products.
- Review test strategies to guarantee the quality of the delivered software.
- Assist in the diagnosis of system problems encountered during testing.
- Work closely with the business users to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions, explain new features and investigate reported issues.
- Design, develop and maintain both new and existing features for applications and ensure end-to-end technical solution to meet the required business outcome.
- Optimize application performance by profiling, finding inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role – 2 days in the office]
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $137,717 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $145,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
