About the Role Canonical is seeking a Web Developer to join our team and contribute to building web applications that support our open source ecosystem. This remote role is based in the EMEA region.
What You'll Do
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications and front-end components for Canonical's platforms.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Ensure performance, accessibility, and security standards across web products.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in web development with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Strong understanding of HTML/CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with server-side development and RESTful APIs is a plus.
- Familiarity with open source software and Ubuntu ecosystem is a plus.
