Our loan officers guide customers through the process to make purchasing a second home or investment property smooth. What You'll Do
- Educate clients on the differences between a second home and rental/investment property, including lender requirements and implications for rates and terms.
- Help clients evaluate their financial situation, goals, and the distance of a second property from their primary residence.
- Explain Wealth Builder DSCR loan features, including its emphasis on potential rental income and typical absence of traditional employment/income verification.
- Guide clients through financing options for purchasing vacation or investment property, including evaluating eligibility criteria such as occupancy, location, and loan terms.
- Provide resources and guidance, including our Second Home guide and related tools, to help clients make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with loan officers to assist clients through the application and approval process. What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of mortgage lending, DSCR loans, and investment-property financing.
- Ability to explain complex mortgage concepts clearly to clients and prospects.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to guide clients through a multi-step financing process.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Nice to Have
- Experience with real estate investing or rental-property financing.
- Familiarity with DSCR loans and investment-property programs.
- Background as a mortgage loan professional working with investors and real estate professionals.
- Knowledge of real estate incentive programs, e.g., the MORE Military Rewards Realtor Cashback Program, as applicable.
