Job title: Wealth Associate
About the Role The Wealth Associate supports the eastern Ontario region with local client and branch interaction in Whitby, Cobourg, Peterborough, Port Hope and surrounding areas. This growth-oriented, entry-level role is designed to develop client-facing talent in Scotia Jarislowsky Fraser (SJF) through the Wealth Associate Advancement Program (WAAP) and close collaboration with Market Leads, Portfolio Managers, and Associate Portfolio Managers to deliver the SJF and Scotia Wealth offering.
What You'll Do
- Partner with an in-house Team of Experts (Central Registrant & Investment Advisory) to manage client relationships and deliver an optimal client experience as you progress toward primary relationship management of specified clients.
- Participate in WAAP training and hands-on learning to support in-role development and performance coaching from Market Leads.
- Work with Scotia Wealth partners to deliver the comprehensive Scotia Wealth Management offering.
- Enhance business development skills and execute growth strategies to extend SJF's reach across markets in Canada.
- Collaborate with Relationship Managers, Market Leads, Portfolio Managers, and external Centres of Influence to service clients and grow the book of business.
What We're Looking For

- Willingness to be based in Eastern Ontario with local presence for client and branch interaction (Whitby, Cobourg, Peterborough, Port Hope and surrounding areas).
- Strong client servicing and relationship management skills with the ability to interact with internal partners and external Centres of Influence.
- Team player who can work with Market Leads, Portfolio Managers, and other stakeholders to support business development and client outcomes.
- Good communication, learning mindset, and ability to develop professionally through WAAP and on-the-job exposure.
