About the Role As the Wayside Track Products Technical Manager, you will be the technical lead on Alstom's On-Corridor Works project in Toronto. You’ll provide engineering leadership, manage the technical scope and interfaces across design, sourcing, installation and commissioning, and ensure the seamless integration of Alstom solutions to improve transit in Canada’s busy network. What You'll Do
- Serve as the technical representative to customers and stakeholders.
- Manage technical communications and secure customer acceptance of project solutions.
- Organize design reviews and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Coordinate with project core teams to integrate Alstom solutions and maintain interface consistency.
- Provide technical input for deployment, sourcing, and industrialization activities.
- Resolve technical issues in collaboration with design and sub-system teams.
- Maintain the technical scope and engineering process discipline across the project lifecycle. What We're Looking For
- Master's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Professional Engineer of Ontario (or readiness to obtain).
- 8 years of professional experience in engineering or technical functions.
- Experience or understanding of railway signalling systems.
- Knowledge of urban or railway systems integration.
- Proficiency in managing diverse teams and fostering collaboration.
- Strong technical leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: CAD 115,000 – 150,000 per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
