Job title: Wax Pattern Inspector
About the Role Join the Mold Masters division as a Wax Pattern Inspector responsible for visually inspecting wax patterns and dressing defects as part of the pattern manufacturing process. This on-site role supports production by ensuring patterns meet customer requirements and are properly prepared for casting.
What You'll Do
- Visually inspects wax patterns to ensure customer requirements are met
- Dress defects using hot torches and hot plates; trims flash; fixes air bubbles; label patterns; assembles parts; applies sealant; keeps work area clean
- Accurately report daily production quantities
What We're Looking For
- Ability to perform visual inspection with attention to detail; steady hands and good visual acuity
- Physical and dexterity requirements: constant use of both upper extremities; frequent use of hand tools; reach/handle at waist, knee, shoulder, overhead; push/lift 10-35 lbs; option to sit or stand at a bench
- Willingness to work 1st shift hours: 6:00 am-2:00 pm, Monday-Friday; on-site work
- Awareness of regulatory considerations: ITAR/EAR/export control considerations and potential requirement to be a U.S. Person or obtain export authorizations
