Job title: Wax Dresser (2nd Shift)
About the Role The Wax Dresser on the 2nd shift is responsible for dressing and blending wax patterns and producing high-quality parts to meet production quotas. This role requires safe operation of wax-dressing equipment, attention to detail, and adherence to quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Perform dressing and blending of wax patterns and operate related equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure quality via visual inspection and gauging; document work daily in the manufacturing computer system.
- Meet production quotas and maintain high quantity/quality output.
- Handle supplies (waxes, lubricants) and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Follow MSDS-based hazardous waste procedures and all safety policies; comply with ITAR/EAR-related requirements as applicable.
- Work with glue, nail polishes, car wax, dental tools, hot tools, and other listed items as part of the dressing process.
- Demonstrate dependability, strong attendance, and ability to work flexible hours; collaborate with team to solve problems.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; may be substituted by relevant experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an operator in manufacturing; casting experience is a plus.
- Experience with misc hand tools, surfaces, grinders, inspection tools; able to use a manufacturing computer system to log work.
- Ability to meet deadlines, maintain quality, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong safety awareness, willingness to follow MSDS guidelines, and ability to handle hazardous waste.
- Good vision and hand-eye coordination; ability to pass Jaeger vision test.

- Prior casting experience.
