Water Utility Technician

Location: Pineville, LA Pay: $11.83/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description

A local municipality in Pineville, LA is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join its team as Water Utility Technicians. In this role, you will work alongside an experienced crew to help maintain, repair, and install water lines that serve the community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, performing hands-on work, and contributing to essential public infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Assist with the repair and maintenance of water lines
Work with crew members to locate and repair water leaks
Dig trenches and assist with water line installations and replacements
Operate hand tools and equipment safely
Load, unload, and transport materials and supplies
Perform routine maintenance on water utility infrastructure
Follow all safety procedures and work-site guidelines
Complete assigned tasks as directed by supervisors

Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, bending, digging, and standing for extended periods
Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Previous utility, construction, maintenance, or general labor experience is preferred but not required
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
