Job title: Water Treatment Intern
Veralto is seeking a Water Treatment Intern for ChemTreat to support water treatment programs at assigned customer accounts. The role focuses on monitoring and correcting prescribed water treatment programs, performing basic water testing, and delivering high-quality customer service while reporting results to Account Managers and plant operators.
What You'll Do
- Routine visits to assigned accounts for water treatment analysis and equipment inspection
- Inspect systems per contractual requirements
- Build customer relationships and interface with plant operators
- Escalate treatment program problems and out-of-spec results to direct supervisor for resolution
- Calibrate pumps and maintain equipment; monitor product feed rates and adjust treatment program when gaps are detected
- Enter results into software and communicate via service reports
- Assist in water-related system improvement projects
- Monitor product inventories and coordinate vehicle maintenance
- Follow health and safety guidelines and policies
- Other duties as assigned by manager
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of water treatment, basic water testing, analysis, probe calibrations, and monitoring/repair of chemical feeds
- Time management and organizational skills; ability to work with some supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, teamwork, analytical, and self-management skills
- Capability to learn operating systems; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Educational background: High School diploma required; chemistry coursework is a plus; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record; willingness to drive short and long distances
Nice to Have
- Experience with chemical and hydrocarbon processing; related experience/training preferred
- Bachelor's degree is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- The compensation range for this role is $16.00 - $22.00 USD per hour
