About the Role Xylem is seeking a Water Treatment Field Service Technician to install, service, and maintain water purification equipment at customer sites around the Tampa, FL area. Training will be provided, with emphasis on hands-on technical work; prior technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is encouraged. This role reports to the Tampa location and utilizes a company service vehicle.
What You'll Do
- Install, service, and maintain water purification equipment at customer sites
- Utilize a company service vehicle and travel within the Tampa area to service customers
- Perform basic troubleshooting, identify safety concerns, and ensure equipment operates per specifications
- Complete related documentation and maintain clean, safe work practices
- Participate in an on-call rotation with overtime opportunities and occasional afternoon/weekends
What We're Looking For
- HS diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office and ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer-facing position
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
