About the Role You’ll provide owner’s Rep’ and QA services for public agencies water and wastewater capital improvements in Inland Empire areas, building strong relationships with Southern California water and wastewater agencies. What You'll Do
- Provide owner’s representative and QA oversight for public water and wastewater capital improvement projects in Inland Empire
- Inspect and record contractor construction activities to verify conformance with contract documents
- Take measurements and maintain records of quantities and materials installed
- Review and compile Inspection Team field information and produce reports
- Respond to inquiries related to inspection and project activities
- Exercise sound judgment to identify potential problems and report issues to the supervisor
- Collaborate within a Project Team to resolve problems; perform office support to compile records for proposed and completed projects
- Assist in preconstruction activities, including constructability reviews and estimates
- Delegate authority to other Inspectors and maintain positive client relationships to enable repeat work
- Help set inspection policies and notify Senior Management of events affecting completion, profitability, or client relationships
- Work onsite at client sites with day and night shifts; some in-person collaboration to build relationships
- Demonstrate flexibility to accommodate work/life needs What We're Looking For
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Construction Engineering Technology, or equivalent + 4 years related experience, or 15+ years’ experience as a Construction Inspector
- Valid driver’s license
- Bonus points: CMIT, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Level 1, ODOT Pre-Qualified Construction Inspector, NICET, APWA certifications
- Ability to read and interpret contract documents including plans, specifications and geotechnical reports
- Strong math skills (geometry and trigonometry)
- Ability to maintain records and prepare reports manually and electronically
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead assigned work

- Prior experience with water and wastewater public agencies is highly desirable Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $70 - $80 per hour (USD)
