Ingredion is looking for a Wastewater Treatment Specialist to ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient wastewater operations at our Banglen Plant. Your expertise will help protect the environment, strengthen community confidence, optimize treatment performance, and advance sustainability and cost-improvement initiatives.

As a Wastewater Treatment Specialist, you will manage and continuously improve wastewater treatment processes, lead the foreman and operator team, ensure treated effluent meets Thai regulations and company standards, and partner with internal teams, authorities, and community stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Operate & Optimize Treatment Systems – Monitor and control wastewater operations, chemical dosing, plate settlers, activated sludge, and anaerobic systems to ensure safe and stable performance.
• Analyze Water Quality – Interpret pH, COD, BOD, TSS, ammonia nitrogen, and total nitrogen data to identify trends and maintain compliant effluent quality.
• Troubleshoot & Improve – Lead root-cause analysis, risk assessment, and corrective and preventive actions to resolve process issues and prevent recurrence.
• Ensure Environmental Compliance – Maintain compliance with Thai environmental regulations, discharge permits, waste-management requirements, and Ingredion standards.
• Manage Reporting & Records – Prepare regulatory and operational reports and maintain accurate treatment, performance, and compliance data.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders – Coordinate with EHS, QA, Production, Maintenance, Supply Chain, GTM, regulators, government agencies, and community representatives.
• Lead People & Sustainability – Coach foremen and operators, deliver environmental and safe-work training, reduce wastewater generation, improve sustainability, and control treatment costs.

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in wastewater treatment operations or environmental management in an industrial setting.
• Mandatory Environmental Certification or Water Effluent Controller Certificate (ผู้ควบคุมระบบบำบัดมลพิษน้ำ).
• Practical knowledge of wastewater parameters, biological and chemical treatment processes, Thai environmental regulations, and wastewater discharge requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; good English communication is preferred.
