Warranty Manager

The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for a Warranty Manager to join our A220 Services Contracts team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will autonomously manage an international airline portfolio and interact with multiple internal and external interfaces.
You will be part of the Services Contracts & Warranties team responsible for adjudicating and administering warranty claims globally for the A220 programme, while applying specific commercial policies and protecting Airbus's financial exposure.
The team organization is established to promote autonomous cross-collaboration, supporting each other and learning collectively.
Your role as a Warranty Manager will be to manage the full lifecycle of warranty claims for your portfolio, negotiate fair solutions with customers, and train airlines on our warranty policies.

Your challenges:
- Act as the interface with internal customers and our A220 customers to manage warranty requests for the portfolio assigned to you. Establish and maintain a trusted business relationship with customers, actively listening and clarifying their needs, requirements and concerns. Propose solutions while protecting Airbus's interests. Meet/visit customers or regular calls;
- Investigate and adjudicate warranty claims based on technical analysis and in accordance with contractual agreements and Airbus policies. Interpret warranty conditions and customer contracts to determine eligibility of claims;
- Coordinate with engineering, maintenance and programs teams to obtain technical and commercial support in complex cases;
- Implement approved policies during retrofit campaigns, notably following policies instructed in our Service Bulletins;
- Ensure airlines are aware of their rights, procedures, tools and events related to warranty by regularly training our customers;
- Portfolio including up to 10 airline accounts for your role - Approximately 500 warranty claims handled per year -
- Approximately 3 million dollars of warranty claims accepted per year.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree at least Master level or equivalent, in engineering, aircraft maintenance or business administration;
- You have at least seven (7) to ten (10) years of relevant experience in the aviation sector, notably in warranty management, contract management or customer negotiations or aircraft operations and maintenance;
- You are customer-minded and solution-oriented, with attention to detail;
- Excellent communication skills to advise, negotiate, and establish durable relationships with stakeholders and airlines;
- Strong organizational skills and excellent prioritization to lead the team and manage the client portfolio;
- You are bilingual in French and English;
- You have solid organizational skills and very good prioritization.
Travel required: Occasional travel within Canada and abroad.
Due to the aerospace sector, numerous contacts with Airbus entities worldwide and interactions with suppliers and customers worldwide, English knowledge is required for this position.
