About the Role Volt is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Los Angeles, CA to prepare floral product for shipment, operate on an assembly line to package products, and assist with pulling product from inventory and delivering to packing lines. This is a full-time role with regular hours and potential overtime. What You'll Do
- Prepare floral product for shipment by working on assembly line to package products and placing product into shipping boxes per customer specifications
- Move boxes to pallets and prepare for shipping; assist with pulling product from inventory and delivering to packing lines
- Build pallets for shipping and operate basic tools after training
- Follow instructions from team leader, QC manager, and Assembly Manager’s administrative personnel
- Communicate effectively and resolve disagreements professionally; be flexible to perform other warehouse tasks as needed
- Report to work on time and maintain professional conduct with co-workers What We're Looking For
- Ability to lift and handle product up to 35 lbs repeatedly; occasional reaching above shoulders, stooping, pushing, pulling, and squatting
- Ability to work in refrigerated areas (38-42 degrees) as needed
- Strong basic math and ability to follow customer specifications
- Prior experience on an assembly line with flowers and agriculture is a plus
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Availability Monday – Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with overtime Nice to Have
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
