About the Role This is a dual-role opportunity at UPS in Uniontown (and Smock) that combines warehouse work with cover driving. You will be trained to perform warehouse duties as the primary assignment and rotate into driving shifts as needed based on package volume and staffing needs. What You'll Do
- Load and unload packages from UPS trailers and brown package cars
- Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Report for your assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
- Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
- Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
- Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
- Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements What We're Looking For
- The ability to lift up to 70 lbs; strong stamina
- Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving history; no CDL required (license type varies by state)
- Pass the DOT physical
- Pass a UPS driver test
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Excellent customer contact and driving skills Nice to Have
- Customer service orientation and comfort working in outdoor environments
- Ability to adapt to rotating roles between warehouse and driving duties Compensation & Benefits
