Job Purpose Lead and control warehouse operations to ensure safe, efficient and accurate material flow, inventory management and delivery performance while meeting customer requirements and Molex standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the warehouse team to ensure daily operations run safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and achieve warehouse KPIs, including inventory accuracy, delivery performance, productivity and operational goals.
- Oversee receiving, storage, material issuance, packing and shipping activities.
- Ensure accurate warehouse transactions and inventory control through SAP/ERP and barcode systems.
- Coordinate cycle counts, physical stock-taking activities and warehouse reporting.
- Develop, implement and maintain warehouse procedures, processes and work instructions to improve resource utilization and operating efficiency.
- Maintain warehouse facilities and equipment, including forklifts, barcode systems and related tools, to ensure operational availability.
- Drive continuous improvement through Kaizen, 6S and other operational excellence practices.
- Train, coach and develop team members, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, quality standards, ISO requirements, EHS, RBA and social responsibility requirements.
- Support new product transfers, testing activities and new product development projects within the department.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience
- College degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse team.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, material flow and manufacturing processes.
- Hands-on experience with SAP or another ERP system for warehouse transactions and inventory control.
- Good understanding of ISO, CSR, RBA and environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Ability to develop warehouse procedures, work instructions and process improvements.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, coaching and team-management skills.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
