Job Description
Warehouse Shipping Supervisor Our well-established client is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Supervisor for their team! This is an excellent full-time, direct-hire role at an ESOP company offering extremely low-cost benefits packages.
Responsibilities of the Warehouse Shipping Supervisor
- Lead daily shipping, spare parts fulfillment, and distribution coordination activities to ensure customer orders, spare parts, and outbound shipments are processed accurately, efficiently, safely, and on time
- Supervise, train, mentor and coordinate workflow for team members
- Partner with various internal departments to support material availability, order fulfillment, and customer commitments
- Ensure team members follow safety procedures, housekeeping standards, equipment requirements, and company policies
- Resolve shipping and fulfillment issues
- Support inventory control
- Maintain documentation
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in corrective actions, audits, and special projects as required
Qualifications of the Warehouse Shipping Supervisor
- 5+ years of experience in shipping, distribution, warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory control, logistics, or a related field
- Associate degree or coursework in supply chain, logistics, business, operations, or a related field preferred
- Prior supervisory or team lead experience preferred
- Working knowledge of shipping processes, carrier coordination, freight documentation, order fulfillment, inventory transactions and control, and warehouse workflow
- Experience using ERP, MRP, warehouse management, shipping, inventory control, or carrier systems (Epicor preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to read, interpret, and verify work orders, customer orders, purchase orders, packing slips, bills of lading, freight instructions, and inventory reports
- Strong communication, leadership, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work, manage multiple deadlines, respond to changing operational needs, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
This Warehouse Shipping Supervisor position works Monday through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm for $70K-$90K/year, depending on experience. We look forward to hearing from you!
