Job title: Warehouse Order Picker
About the Role Join Fortune Brands Innovations as a Warehouse Order Picker responsible for selecting and retrieving order items from storage locations using barcodes, SKU, or serial numbers. You will ensure accurate picking, update inventory, and support stock control and warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Select and retrieve order items from storage shelves or designated locations using barcodes, serial numbers, SKUs, etc.
- Handle items and trays; typical weight 15-50 lbs; place picked items onto a cart for distribution.
- Update stock inventory after retrieving picked items and support stock replenishment and storage.
- Perform general warehouse duties as needed.
- Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adapt quickly.
- Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Read and understand picking sheets written in English; multitask effectively.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
- Ability to interpret written or oral instructions.
- Ability to understand safety requirements and cautions.
- Physical ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift/move up to 50 lbs (frequent).
Nice to Have
- Experience with inventory control systems and warehouse technology (e.g., barcodes, scanners) is a plus.
