About the Role Guardian Glass is seeking a motivated Warehouse Operator at our Richburg, SC facility to support safe handling, organization, and processing of goods, inventory management, and equipment operation. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork as part of Guardian Glass, a Guardian Industries company.
What You'll Do
- Maintain a safe work environment by consistently wearing proper PPE, performing safe work behaviors, and communicating safety concerns to supervisor
- Understand and execute job per the given work instructions or SOP
- Follow 5S procedures and complete general housekeeping duties
- May be required to lift to 50 pounds; may also be required to lift to 35 pounds while twisting at the waist level on a repetitive basis
- Operate equipment and mechanized devices, including forklifts, and move, navigate, or drive machinery
- Judge quality of product and adjust accordingly
- Communicate effectively between team members, other departments and internal customers
- Prepare final products for shipping and distribution
What We're Looking For
- Ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment
- Familiarization with inventory control
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- One or more years of experience in farming, manufacturing, industrial, or military environment
- One or more years of machine operator experience
- Experience using a tape measure, air nailer, hammer, bander, and glass cutters
- Experience operating an overhead crane
- Experience operating a fork truck and/or motorized pallet jack
Nice to Have
- Additional experience in related industrial environments that demonstrate reliability and safety focus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18-$20 per hour, based on experience
