Greenville LNG Company Limited is the pioneer Domestic LNG producer in Nigeria with the objective of extending gas supplies to regions not reached by gas pipelines thereby making available a competitive source of energy to boost the economy. Greenville LNG Plant is in Rumuji near Port-Harcourt and has customer locations in Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Enugu, Sokoto, Aba and other cities nationwide.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Warehouse Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

About the Job

• Compliance with warehouse SOP and policies
• Material offloading, physical counting, tagging and receiving of consignments from vendors.
• Issuance of materilas to user departments by adequately following SOP and policies.
• Adequately stacking and binning of materials on allocated bin locations.
• Compliance with all material handling techniques and safety procedures.
• Ensure proper documentation.
• Sorting, tagging, packing and loading of materials.
• Ensure proper materials counting and recordings.
• Ensure proper warehouse and materials housekeeping.
• To carry out the above duties and other jobs as instructed by the superior.

Qualifications

• ND in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; master's degree, Bachelor's degree or professional certification (e.g., APICS, CSCP) is a plus.
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in warehouse management, distribution, or logistics operations, with a track record of managing large-scale warehouses or distribution centers.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management principles, logistics processes, and supply chain best practices, with experience in implementing warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with safety regulations, security protocols, and workplace health standards governing warehouse operations, including OSHA requirements.
• Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop warehouse staff, fostering teamwork, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships, negotiate with stakeholders, and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize warehouse operations and solve complex logistics challenges.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and Microsoft Office applications for data analysis, reporting, and communication.
• Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing business needs and market conditions.
