Job title: Warehouse Manager
About the Role You will lead the warehouse operations for Alstom's IC5 project and help establish the maintenance workshops in Aarhus and Copenhagen. Based in Aarhus, you will ensure efficient material handling, stock control and smooth logistics flows between production and warehousing, with occasional travel to Copenhagen. This role combines leadership of a logistics team with the continuous improvement of warehousing processes.
What You'll Do
- Set direction for the team, define goals and KPIs, and support and develop employees through coaching, development plans and performance follow-up.
- Ensure logistics operators follow Alstom's warehousing processes and standards.
- Plan and coordinate daily operations and resources in relation to the warehouse workload.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager on development and optimization of warehouse and logistics processes.
- Be responsible for the operational handling of materials, equipment and deliveries.
- Define and implement effective routines for warehouse operations and material flow between depots.
What We're Looking For
- Education in logistics, Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Experience with warehouse management and logistics processes.
- Knowledge of SAP and scanner systems is a plus.
- Experience developing and implementing logistics strategies and processes.
- Driving license; crane experience is a plus.
- Focus on continuous improvement and optimization of processes.
