Volt is hiring for a Warehouse Associate position with a leading industrial equipment company in Chalfont, PA.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will:
- Pick, pack, and ship customer orders
- Receive and stock incoming purchase orders
- Resolve discrepancies involving quantities ordered, received, or shipped
- Perform daily cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies
- Pull parts, materials, and finished goods for production or shipment
- Count, weigh, and accurately record inventory transactions
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials
- Select appropriate containers and packaging for customer shipments
- Assemble shipping crates using hand and power tools
- Package products using spacers, fillers, and protective materials
- Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, trays, and shelves
- Operate material handling equipment
- Stock materials and verify correct bin locations
- Create and label new inventory locations as needed
- Use saws and nail guns as required

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required

2–5 years of warehouse or related experience

1–2 years of forklift experience

Basic math skills

Knowledge of warehouse and shipping practices and procedures

Computer experience, including word processing and spreadsheet software

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment

Strong planning, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Ability to frequently stand, walk, and lift throughout the workday

Ability to work in a non-air-conditioned warehouse environment

Pay: $25.00–$26.00 per hour
