Warehouse Associate
Volt is immediately hiring a Warehouse Associate in Grand Junction, Colorado.
As a Warehouse Associate, you will
- Workers will be pulling and moving file storage boxes in an unmanned warehouse.
- Pull file storage boxes weighing 40-50lbs from warehouse shelving, including upper shelves
- Use a rolling staircase to access higher storage areas
- Work with a partner to safely remove and move heavier boxes
- Assist with approximately 200 boxes per week as part of the initial 800-box priority project
This is a full-time 3-month assignment opportunity!
Schedule: Monday - Friday - 7am to 4pm
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous warehouse, inventory, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, moving, and organizing materials throughout the shift
- Forklift or warehouse equipment experience is a plus
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of stored records
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
