Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associate in La Porte, Texas

As a Warehouse Associate, you will:

• Be comfortable with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Be comfortable with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming materials.
• Be comfortable with loading trucks with pipe, fittings, and materials (primary function of role).
• Be comfortable with banding, palletizing, and organizing pipe and fittings for shipment.
• Be comfortable with safely handling oversized and irregular bore plastic pipe, palletized fittings, and spools.
• Be comfortable with maintaining a clean, organized, secure, and safe warehouse environment.
• Be comfortable with performing shipping and receiving duties, including staging materials.

This is a full time, Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 1-year recent sit?down forklift experience.
• Safely handle large, awkward, or oversized materials.
• Steel?toed boots for safety compliance.
• Forklift operator certification/experience with adapting to specialized equipment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Background in warehouse operations (shipping, receiving, delivery, inventory).
• Combilift experience (preferred but not required).
• Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn pipe/fittings handling.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a pipe yard.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
