Warehouse Associate - Onsite Plainfield IN
6-Month+ Contract | 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM ET
Our client, a Global Medical Device Manufacturer has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Associate for a 6 Month + Contract. You will work with other like-minded, self-directed and detail oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.
Making sure products are received, processed, stored and shipped per company merchandising guidelines. Receives inventory, identifies inventory levels and tracks product backlog. Inspects and verifies received shipments. Update paper or electronic stock records. Able to repeatedly lift heavy items and to walk or stand for the duration of shift.
The associate will be cross-trained across multiple warehouse functions, including receiving, picking, packing, and pallet building. Responsibilities may also include supporting indirect tasks such as box assembly, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. This role provides exposure to a variety of warehouse operations and offers opportunities to develop skills across multiple areas of the facility.
Position Description
- Administers and operates the organization's warehouses, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.
- Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
- Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- 2+ years work experience in a warehouse setting
- Experience in receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory management and material handling within a warehouse or distribution environment.
- 2+ Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or ERP Platforms.
- Experience using systems to manage inventory transactions, receiving, shipping and material movement
- Experience performing inventory transactions, cycle counts, audits, and maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse systems or RF scanners.
- High School Diploma or higher education.
