Job title: Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator
About the Role This role will perform warehouse tasks in Owens & Minor's Distribution Center, primarily operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to support inbound, storage, picking, and shipping operations.
What You'll Do
- Receiving: unload pallets/cases, verify counts using RF or Voice Pick Technology, document variances
- Put Away: move product from inbound dock to storage using standing reach or stock picker
- Replenishment: move pallets from reserve location to pick location
- LUM Picking: select products per Voice Pick/RF, place items into totes on conveyor
- Bulk Picking: select bulk items with stock picker, reach heights up to 35 feet
- Sortation: prepare sortation area and move cartons/totes to pallets or carts for shipping
- Loading: ensure totes/pallets/carts are loaded onto trucks using RF scanner; operate forklift/pallet jack
- Safety and Quality: follow safety policies, maintain clean work area, perform basic math and count checks
What We're Looking For
- Experience operating MHE (forklift, reach truck, stock picker, pallet jack) and following procedures
- Commitment to safety, quality, and a clean work environment
- Ability to perform basic math, count accurately, and meet productivity standards
- Punctual, dependable, and able to work Monday-Friday; overtime as needed
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice to Have
- Experience with Voice Pick Technology or RF scanning systems
- Comfort working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $18 per hour (hourly)
