About the Role The Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator supports Owens & Minor's distribution operations in Ashland, VA across all shifts. You will perform receiving, picking, sortation, and loading tasks using RF/WMS technologies and equipment to ensure accurate, on-time delivery for healthcare customers.

What You'll Do

• Receiving: Unloads pallets and cases from inbound trailers manually using the pallet jack; counts, verifies, and receives product with RF or Voice Pick Technology; documents variances.
• LUM Picking: Selects products and quantities as directed by Voice Pick Technology and/or RF scanner; places items into totes on conveyor.
• Sortation: Prepares sortation area; moves cartons and totes from conveyors to pallets/carts per batch.
• Loading: Uses RF scanner to ensure proper loading onto trucks; uses pallet jack to load pallets.
• General: Follows procedures, maintains safe environment, conducts physical inventories as required; performs additional duties as directed.

What We're Looking For

• General knowledge of math, reading, basic topics; prior experience in warehouse/distribution center a plus.
• Warehouse/Operations certification a plus.
• Ability to use WMS Technology and common sense to carry out written and oral instructions; work in fast-paced team environment; pay attention to detail; dependable with regular attendance.
• Willingness to learn to use new material handling equipment and WMS.
• Ability to adhere to SOPs and safety rules; pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Ability to work unscheduled overtime hours with minimal notice; nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical requirements: operate forklift for some functions; reach up to 35 feet high; stand and walk on concrete; squat and kneel; lift up to 50 lbs (or greater with team lift); use a step ladder or stool; wear steel-toed footwear.

• Pay: $19.00 per hour, plus shift differential where applicable.
