About the Role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented Warehouse / Assistant System Control Officer to support daily warehouse operations while ensuring accurate inventory tracking through our stock management system.
- This role bridges physical warehouse activity with system-based inventory control, making sure stock records always match what's actually in the store.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock against purchase orders/delivery notes
- Update and maintain accurate inventory records on the stock/inventory management system
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with system records
- Flag and investigate discrepancies between physical inventory and system data
- Organize and arrange warehouse items for easy identification, access, and retrieval
- Process stock issuance, transfers, and returns, ensuring proper documentation
- Support order picking, packing, and dispatch processes
- Monitor stock levels and alert management on low stock or reorder points
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, safety, and adherence to storage procedures
- Prepare periodic stock and inventory reports for management
- Assist in warehouse audits and support the Warehouse Manager with administrative tasks
Requirements

OND / HND / Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory, or stock control (experience with an inventory / ERP system is an advantage).

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with inventory management software is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and record-keeping accuracy.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to lift /move stock items and work on your feet for extended periods.

Honest, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision.
