About the Role Green Lantern Pizza in Berkley, MI is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join our team. You will help deliver an exceptional dining experience in a fast-paced pizza restaurant and grow with our family.
What You'll Do
- Greet guests, seat them, and escort to tables; provide menu recommendations; take and deliver orders.
- Upsell additional products when appropriate; communicate order details to kitchen staff; ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions; check IDs to prevent minors from ordering alcohol; deliver checks and collect payments.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of tables and tableware; provide friendly, attentive, and reliable service.
- Collaborate with team to provide a pleasurable dining experience and resolve issues as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to handle money transactions responsibly.
- Ability to multitask and act quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work shifts; high school diploma.
