Job Title: WACO Business Development Representative

With limited direction, The WACO Business Development Representative will assist in analyzing, planning, researching and developing WACO objectives and strategic plans to achieve business opportunities, growth and financial profitability. Incumbents may have marketing responsibilities such as speaking engagements, seminar presentations, direct mail campaigns, etc. The incumbent is expected to always portray a positive image throughout the community and the market areas.

What You Will Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)

Increase market share and drive revenue-building opportunities through active networking, team introductions, and executing partnership relationship-building opportunities.

Drive new business by identifying potential customers through market research and active networking. Utilize available subscriptions, market data, phone/email, and social media to qualify leads and maintain a connection to the local referral community.

Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and internal partners, new referral relationships, and WACO Closing Sales and leadership teams. Serve as a sales support liaison with WACO Closing Office personnel and internal partners and maintain active relationships.

Work with Closing Sales Teams to reach revenue targets and grow the client base. Partner on Closing Agent outreach plans to understand business growth goals and needs and drive new growth opportunities.

Partner with Centralized Marketing and Closing Teams to identify brand and personnel marketing opportunities, as well as the selection and quantity determination of branded goods for Closing Teams and market events. Participate in creating and selecting marketing material in conjunction with the Centralized Marketing Team.

Understand the local real estate market. Monitor competitors, including recruiting opportunities, industry and market trends, and sales opportunities. Partner with local organizations to drive meaningful relationships and maintain market awareness.

Execute established sales strategies to maximize market presence, highlight the WACO brand, and increase market share.

Prepare and present product, service, and educational presentations to existing and potential customers, as well as with local organizations.

Directly attend real-estate networking events and existing customer meetings and coordinate the joint participation of the Closing Sales Teams. Identify opportunities and ensure team awareness through ongoing communication and calendar management. Participate in the planning and executing of WACO-hosted and/or existing client events.

Support sales development efforts and enhance the overall customer experience by creating and actively participating in ongoing training and motivational support. Work in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and establish a sales strategy.

Evaluate sponsorship opportunities and coordinate participation to maximize market and brand presence in accordance with established sales budgets and applicable policies.

Support proper administration of sales budgets via fielding and evaluating marketing opportunities in conjunction with the Regional Sales Manager and applicable Closing Managers.

Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
