V&V Project Lead - Signaling

About the Role This role leads Verification and Validation activities for signaling projects at Alstom, coordinating with Test & Commissioning to ensure customer and design requirements are met, and defining V&V strategies that support safety targets. What You'll Do

• Define the Project Verification and Validation strategy in the V&V Plan, ensuring coverage and demonstration that customer and design requirements are met.
• Collect contributions from stakeholders and optimize test allocation in-house and on-site; coordinate with labs to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Define and agree V&V activity schedule; ensure adherence to processes and norms; request deviations when appropriate.
• Define the RVT to demonstrate validation of technical requirements; organize and lead documental verification and reviews.
• Manage full verification and validation of all configured functions and data; monitor execution and reporting of activities delegated to experts.
• Define needs, architecture and follow-up for test benches and analysis tools.
• Represent Alstom to customers, partners and auditors with overview of Test strategy, progress, issues, risks and opportunities.
• Lead the V&V Team and ensure deliverables; ensure independence of verification from design; select and manage subcontractors.
• Cooperate with Test and Commissioning for Site Acceptance Tests; manage work packages; monitor CPI and DQI; support Root Cause Analysis. What We're Looking For
• Education: Mandatory degree; English full proficiency; desirable Master degree in Engineering or scientific fields.
• Experience: Mandatory: strong analytical skills and experience in test & integration; alternative experience in systems engineering or Safety Assurance; knowledge of at least one Alstom platform; desirable: knowledge of more than one platform; system-level project experience; five+ years in systems/sub-systems integration, embedded equipment, or related fields in complex regulated environments (railway signalling, aerospace, defense, nuclear).
