Job title: VR & MTP Coordinator
About the Role The VR & MTP Coordinator leads variation reduction and process improvement initiatives within their operational domain or industrial site. They establish and validate the MTP strategy, deploy Tools & Methods to reduce variability, implement Total Process Control, and ensure sustainability of results. They also maintain network competencies and support succession planning.
What You'll Do
- Establish and validate the MTP charter/roadmap aligned with the business challenges and the entity’s managers.
- Lead the deployment and prioritization of actions in the variation reduction program; keep MTP coverage up to date.
- Pilot, deploy and sustain the Total Process Control approach; demonstrate results and ensure sustainability.
- Develop and maintain variation reduction/MTP competencies across the network; create and animate training modules; support onboarding and job changes.
- Initiate and manage variation reduction projects with cross-functional teams within their perimeter.
- Monitor process capability and stability indicators; update metrics periodically with the animator and coordinator.
- Implement monitoring/control maps as part of the statistical process control approach with workshop support.
- Ensure projects follow the recommended methodology to reduce process dispersion within their scope.
- Manage a dashboard linking actions to operational results/issues; escalate arbitrations to entity managers.
- Oversee the Variation Reduction/MTP network schedule and action planning; support the development of the network and its governance.
- Provide competencies diagnostics on request; leverage digital tools to capture/exploit product and/or process characteristics.
- Apply methodological Variation Reduction/MTP expertise to resolve complex product/process problems.
