Job Summary
Manage the entire life cycle of assigned product line for Steel Services.
Job Description
Key Accountabilities:
- Overall responsibility for assigned product line, including profitability and growth of the product, sales, and margin.
- Develop marketing and sales strategy for product, including new customer targets. Understand potential market threats and opportunities and develop strategies to successfully navigate them.
- Determine strategic pricing levels by maintaining thorough knowledge of the current customer base, competitor strategies and market conditions.
- Manage product purchasing, inventory and turns.
- Negotiate deals with mills and other suppliers. Ensure product availability and appropriate inventory management.
- Provide education, training, direction and guidance to Product Managers and others in the organization to ensure all product standards and customer needs are met while maintaining aggressive margin levels.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

10+ years’ sales and product experience.

Thorough product knowledge, knowledge of markets, sales, suppliers/mills, purchasing and inventory management.

BA/BA, MBA preferred.
