About the Role Volunteer Student Leader who participates in Northwest Outdoor Science School site or event; prearranged attendance required; volunteer background check and fingerprint clearance. What You'll Do
- Support site operations and supervision under the guidance of NWRESD staff and site coordinators.
- Follow volunteer guidelines, sign in/out, and wear identification badge.
- Promote a positive example for students and maintain professional conduct. What We're Looking For
- Individuals prearranged to attend a NW Outdoor Science School site or event as a student leader.
- Willingness to undergo background check and fingerprint clearance (Oregon Department of Education) and complete Volunteer Application.
- Reliability and punctuality; ability to communicate with staff and assist during emergencies. Nice to Have
- Prior volunteer or leadership experience in an educational setting.
- Understanding of confidentiality and school policies. Compensation & Benefits
