About the Role ConcordTV offers volunteering and internship opportunities for individuals to gain hands-on experience in public access television and video production. Volunteers may produce content for ConcordTV channels, work on live and post-production crews, operate cameras, handle audio direction, and assist with administrative tasks. Internships provide college students a chance to experience professional television settings and build industry knowledge.
What You'll Do
- Produce content for ConcordTV channels
- Work as crew on larger ConcordTV productions (live and post-production)
- Operate cameras and assist with audio direction
- Assist with administrative tasks
- Participate in youth camp activities and related tasks
What We're Looking For
- Preferably 18 years of age or older and enrolled in College/University courses
- Able to work as part of a team in a professional setting
- Mac proficiency preferred
- Preferably pursuing a degree in the field of Communications or related field
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency preferred
Nice to Have
- Experience with Final Cut Pro and Express, Sony Vegas, Premiere, or any other Non-Linear Editing systems
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Encore, Encoder, etc.)
- Experience with field equipment (Canon XA25, SD Cards, Tripods, etc.)
