About the Role Volunteer opportunity with the YMCA of Middle Tennessee to coach a youth flag football team as a volunteer. This role focuses on teaching skills, building character, and creating a fun, safe experience for players. What You'll Do
- Coach and guide a youth flag football team during practices and games
- Lead warm-ups, keep practices on schedule, and ensure equal playing time for all participants
- Communicate schedule changes, rain delays, or other updates with participants and families
- Promote safety by teaching proper techniques and maintaining equipment
- Build positive relationships with players, families, staff, and officials What We're Looking For
- Minimum Age: 18
- 1-3 years of coaching or teaching experience preferred
- Pass a background check and complete YMCA Youth Sports Coaches Training Nice to Have
- Enthusiasm and love for teamwork
