About the Role Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences is seeking to fill a full-time, Visiting Professor of Mathematics position located at Regent University’s Virginia Beach campus. The role will require teaching on campus and online for the Spring 2027 semester, totaling 12 instructional hours. What You'll Do
- Teach on campus and online during the Spring 2027 semester, totaling 12 hours.
- Deliver engaging, student-centered learning experiences that integrate mathematical theory with ethical and spiritual responsibility.
- Work with students during office hours and support their learning.
- Assume other duties as assigned by the supervisor. What We're Looking For
- A PhD in Mathematics is preferred (master’s with 18+ graduate hours in math may be considered).
- Higher level math teaching experience and a record of or potential for academic scholarship.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching, student mentorship, and proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and digital instructional tools.
- Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses and facility with online instructional technology.
- A strong commitment to the University's mission and to Christ-centered teaching and learning.
- Willingness to embrace the College and University Identity and Mission statements and subscribe to a statement of Christian faith. Nice to Have
- Record of or potential for scholarly activity in Mathematics.
- Experience with online instructional technology and digital pedagogy. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: For Spring 2027 Semester Only, $25,000 - $35,000.
