About the Role Support the development of high-quality engineering deliverables for water and industrial water infrastructure projects within Black & Veatch's Governments & Communities market. As a VDDS Assistant Engineering Technician, you will help develop and update 3D piping layouts and model-based drawings using Autodesk Revit under close supervision, coordinating routing with process equipment, structures, and underground utilities to ensure constructable designs. What You'll Do
- Develop and modify 3D piping layouts and model-based drawings for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and conveyance systems using Autodesk Revit.
- Coordinate system routing and interfaces with process equipment, structures, and underground utilities to ensure constructability and efficiency.
- Support project teams in delivering high-quality engineering deliverables under close supervision.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams within the Governments & Communities Market Sector to meet project objectives. What We're Looking For
- Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices with the ability to perform technical tasks under close supervision.
- Familiarity with Autodesk Revit or willingness to learn BIM tools.
- Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in water and wastewater infrastructure projects and a desire to grow in mechanical piping design. Compensation & Benefits
