Villanova Athletics is seeking student production assistants to help with video content creation, live streaming, photography, and graphic design. This role supports ESPN+ live streaming and non-live content across Villanova outlets, and may include on-air talent duties for live events.
Assist with ESPN+ live streaming: producer, director, operate video switcher, camera operator, provide production support, video engineer and other duties as assigned by supervisor. Support video content creation for Villanova.com, YouTube, social media channels, videoboards, and the Villanova Sports Network (hype videos, postgame reports, previews, and other non-live content). Help with graphic design and photography content for digital media outlets listed above. Work at various venues including Villanova Stadium, Higgins Soccer Complex, Finneran Pavilion, Jake Nevin Field House, Villanova Softball Complex, Proving Grounds in Conshohocken & Villanova Baseball Park at Plymouth Meeting; may serve as on-air talent for live streams when needed.
Training available, but experience is preferred. Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X; experience in post-production. Experience in live sport productions; ability to film live events; knowledge of JVC Pro Cameras. Social media savvy; ability to develop engaging digital media graphics and photography. Ability to meet tight deadlines; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Passion for college athletics.
Wage: $15 per hour. Evening and weekend hours required; on-campus position with production setup and teardown responsibilities.
