Job title: Video Summer Camp Instructor
ConcordTV seeks an enthusiastic instructor to lead its Summer Camp programs for ages 11-15. This onsite role runs Monday–Friday 9:00am–1:30pm during the camp sessions (Beginners and Advanced). Instructors guide campers through hands-on video production, from shooting with cameras to editing with Adobe Premiere, and help campers prepare finished videos for a potential early-fall screening. The role includes managing equipment and supervising a small camper cohort.
What You'll Do
- Lead hands-on video production sessions for beginners and advanced campers using Canon XA-15 cameras, microphones, lighting, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Supervise up to 10 campers per session, ensure safety, structure daily activities from 9:00am to 1:30pm, and assist with a final screening of camp videos (date TBD).
- Facilitate equipment usage and basic studio setup, including checkout procedures and involvement with public access programming.
- Communicate with families about schedules, registrations and answer questions.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in teaching or supporting youth programs (preferred).
- Interest or background in video production, camera operation (Canon XA-15), audio, lighting, and basic editing (Adobe Premiere Pro).
- Ability to work onsite, supervise youth, follow safety guidelines, and maintain a positive, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication, organization, and enthusiasm for hands-on learning.
Nice to Have
- Prior camp, classroom, or workshop experience.
- Familiarity with ConcordTV equipment and public access workflows.
- Willingness to support multiple sessions and engage families in the program.
Compensation & Benefits
