A remote contract opportunity for a creative Video Editor based in Nigeria. The role involves editing short-form videos, interviews, event content and social media videos for online platforms, using industry-standard tools. This position is remote and offers a monthly salary of ₦250,000.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, interviews, event content and social media videos to a high standard
- Collaborate with the team to understand project goals and delivery deadlines
- Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously and maintain organized project files
- Apply motion graphics, color correction, audio editing and pacing to enhance final outputs
- Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and platform requirements
Requirements
- Based in Nigeria and able to work remotely
- Proficiency with video editing tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Strong storytelling ability and attention to detail
- Experience editing for social media and short-form formats
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
