About this role
A remote contract role for a creative Video Editor based in Nigeria. The position offers a monthly salary of ₦250,000. You will be responsible for editing short-form videos, interviews, event content and social media videos, all from a remote location in Nigeria. You should be comfortable using industry-standard video editing tools to deliver engaging content.
Responsibilities
- Edit short-form videos, interviews, event content and social media videos
- Collaborate with the team to understand project goals and desired outcomes
- Produce polished video edits that align with brand and platform requirements
- Manage multiple editing projects and meet deadlines
- Apply basic color correction, audio adjustments and visual effects as needed
Requirements
- Based in Nigeria and able to work remotely
- Experience editing short-form video content, interviews, and event footage
- Proficiency with CapCut, Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
- Creative mindset with attention to storytelling and pacing
- Strong time management and ability to deliver within deadlines
