This role is intended to create dedicated executive ownership for the commercial operating infrastructure supporting Optum Financial Provider Products.
Reporting to the SVP of Distribution, the VP, Sales Operations will lead revenue operations, commercial analytics, forecasting, attribution, CRM governance, channel management, partner onboarding, partner support, commercial performance reporting, and distribution operations across provider banking, payments, lending, treasury, and future financial solutions.
The role will establish the operating systems, reporting frameworks, governance structures, partner management capabilities, and AI-enabled automation necessary to scale provider acquisition, optimize commercial performance, support strategic distribution partnerships, and improve decision-making across the Provider Products organization.
This leader serves as the operational backbone of the Distribution organization by ensuring direct and indirect sales channels are measurable, scalable, efficient, and aligned to growth objectives. The ideal candidate will bring a unique blend of building from 0 to 1 and rapidly scaling new products in the market.

Primary Responsibilities:
Revenue Operations & Commercial Performance
- Develop and own CRM governance, lead management, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and sales operating rhythms
- Build workforce management capabilities to support and scale internal and external sales teams
- Establish commercial reporting, attribution, and performance measurement frameworks
- Partner with Finance on forecasting, capacity planning, and unit economics
- Improve commercial productivity, efficiency, and revenue performance
Partner Distribution & Channel Management
- Lead onboarding, activation, operational support, and performance management of strategic distribution partners
- Develop scalable operating models supporting referral, embedded, co-branded, and strategic partnerships
- Establish partner governance, scorecards, incentives, and performance reviews
- Improve partner productivity and channel contribution
Commercial Analytics & Growth Intelligence
- Own GTM analytics, business intelligence, and executive reporting capabilities
- Deliver actionable insights supporting acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, and growth
- Establish performance scorecards across products, channels, campaigns, and partnerships
- Enable data-driven investment, resource allocation, and growth decisions
AI, Automation & Commercial Innovation
- Own the AI, automation, and commercial innovation roadmap for the Distribution organization
- Deploy AI-enabled workflows, automation, and agent-based capabilities across provider acquisition, onboarding, partner management, and sales operations
- Improve scalability, reduce manual effort, and increase seller and partner productivity
- Establish the next-generation commercial operating model supporting long-term growth

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, channel management, commercial strategy, analytics, business operations, or related disciplines
- Experience leveraging technology, automation, analytics, and AI to improve commercial performance
- Experience leading commercial operations functions in complex organizations
- Experience operating in distribution or partner ecosystems
- Demonstrated ability to identify automation opportunities and leverage AI to improve productivity
- Demonstrated success building reporting, forecasting, attribution, CRM, and performance management capabilities
- Demonstrated financial acumen and business planning experience
- Demonstrated success partnering with Product, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership teams
- Willing and able to travel approximately 25% of the time as business needs dictate
Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare provider market experience
- Banking, payments, fintech, lending, treasury management, or financial services experience
- Experience building and managing partner ecosystems
- Experience leading analytics or business intelligence functions
- Experience developing AI-enabled operating models and automation strategies
- Experience supporting direct and indirect distribution channels
- Experience operating in highly matrixed organizations

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 - $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
