Job Title: Vice President, eFX Trader

Duties: Manage the electronic pricing of Foreign Exchange (FX) Spot and Non-Deliverable Forward products to BNP's clients. Generate revenue for the bank by monetizing the FX flows we receive from our client base. Idea generation and quantitative research for the BNP electronic FX market making desk. Grow the electronic FX franchise in New York by providing competitive and reliable liquidity to BNP's Real Money, Corporate and Hedge Fund client base. Develop statistical models for the electronic FX automated market making system and monitoring of the performance of the market-making strategies from a quantitative, systematic perspective. Expand our trading capabilities in emerging markets currencies so that we can provide increasingly competitive pricing to the BNP client franchise. Leverage BNP's in-house systems and data to improve profitability, increase market share, and identify trading opportunities for the Bank. Use Python, SQL and other software to develop tools and applications for the electronic FX sales and trading team.

SALARY: $233,813.00 USD - $250,000.00 USD / year. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.

Work Schedule: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)

Requirements

• Master's / US or Foreign Equivalent in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or Computer Science and three (3) years of experience with Financial Markets, Quantitative Finance, or Trading. NFA Swaps Proficiency Program (Must obtain within a month of hire). Must have three (3) years of experience with: Electronic foreign exchange knowledge to generate revenue and improve upon eFX Systems; API trading knowledge to increase revenue and grow volumes from clients trading via API connections; Developing the EM FX franchise by adapting existing techniques used in G10 currencies; Mathematics and Statistics knowledge to perform quantitative analysis of the eFX trading system and its profitability; Coding, algorithm, and software development knowledge to build analytical tools and automate trading tasks; and Conducting quantitative research for the desk into how to increase revenue and business for the bank. Must have two (2) years of experience with precious metals trading to develop the NY metals franchise and generate revenue by trading these products.
