About the Role Vice President, Corporate Transactions based in Somerville, MA, focused on leading licensing, M&A, and complex contracting transactions across Foresite Capital's portfolio. Requires a J.D. and extensive legal and industry experience, with in-house biopharma background preferred.
What You'll Do
- Draft and negotiate licensing agreements, M&A documents, and other complex contracts.
- Apply sound judgment and ethical conduct while managing multiple high-quality, timely deals.
- Oversee project management of contracting processes and collaborate with portfolio companies.
What We're Looking For
- J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in one or more U.S. states.
- 15+ years of industry-related experience, with 5+ years in-house at a biopharmaceutical company; rare diseases experience preferred.
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to multi-task.
Nice to Have
- In-house biopharma experience with rare diseases business strongly preferred.
