Kings University was established in 2015 by the King’s Ministries Trust, also known as Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC), a Protestant Evangelical Ministry. On March 4, 2015, the University was granted a provisional license by the Federal Government of Nigeria through the National Universities Commission, officially commencing academic activities on February 1, 2016.

Qualifications

Must be a Professor of at least ten (10) years standing.

Demonstrated academic excellence and administrative competence.

High moral integrity and alignment with Christian values.

Proven capacity to attract research funding and foster innovation.

Commitment to nurturing students in line with the mission and vision of a faith-based private institution.

Four (4) years, renewable subject to performance and Board approval.
