Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Are you passionate about animals and enjoy helping people? Join our team as a Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital Assistant II! In this role, you'll be an important part of a busy veterinary hospital, helping clients, supporting veterinarians and students, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (some holiday shifts required)

What You'll Do

Greet clients and assist with check-in and appointment scheduling

Answer phones and respond to client questions

Coordinate patient visits and emergency appointments

Maintain and organize medical records

Assist with billing, payments, and client communications

Support doctors, students, and staff with administrative needs

Help keep the reception area organized and welcoming

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior receptionist experience within a large or small animal clinic
- Customer service experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments
- Experience with payment processing, invoicing and/or bookkeeping
- Familiarity with scheduling systems or client management software
- Associate's degree or coursework in veterinary technology, animal science, or related field
