About this role
Looking for a part-time veterinary receptionist role where your client service skills make a difference? Bayshore Animal Clinic is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and organized Veterinary Receptionist / Veterinary CSR to support our front desk team and deliver an exceptional experience for pets and their people.
Schedule: 2 days per week — Mondays and Fridays, with the opportunity to pick up a third day as scheduling needs arise.
Location: 2812 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa, FL 33611
What You'll Be Doing
- Previous veterinary reception, veterinary CSR, veterinary client service, or animal hospital experience strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accurate data entry.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy veterinary environment.
- Comfort with computers and learning veterinary practice management software.
- Dependability, compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.
- Comfort working around dogs, cats, and other companion animals.
What We're Looking For
- Previous veterinary reception, veterinary receptionist, veterinary client service, or veterinary hospital experience preferred but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable answering phones and assisting multiple clients in a busy environment
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn veterinary practice management software
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain professional in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with dogs, cats, and other companion animals
- Compassionate, dependable, team-oriented, and willing to learn
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30–50 pounds when needed
